Albanian Folk Dance Course20th - 22nd SeptemberBournemouth | This is an exciting opportunity to discover traditional Albanian folk
dance first hand from Albanian nationals. Genc is a
choreographer for the National Ensemble, but he is very interested in
the traditional dances of Albania and will bring authentic material
which he has researched. Helga is also a solo dancer in the Ensemble
and she assists Genc with his courses and teaches the women’s dances.
They are both charming and warm-hearted people and will steal your
hearts away. Mike and Clyde will provide live music for the
weekend. This adds a whole new dimension to our residential
weekends as they are able to offer live music for the social dances, and
singing and music-making workshops for anyone who would like to
have a go
