Click on an area of the map to see the groups and classes
available in your area. The areas are Scotland, North, Central, East,
West & South West, South (excluding London),
London, Wales, Northern
Ireland, Eire. The groups and classes listed on these pages are either Affiliated (AF) or Associated (AS) to the Society for International Folk Dancing. Associated Groups are run by an SIFD accredited teacher, and they are covered by SIFD insurance. Groups may affiliate to the SIFD, on payment of an annual fee. More details, and an application form will be posted shortly. You can attend them without being an individual member of the Society, but those who join receive a monthly newsletter, reduced admission to many events, and a discount on books, cassettes, etc published by the Society. |
| The Society and the local groups arrange various classes, courses, and social dances throughout the country. There are monthly day courses and social dances in central London, and other day and residential courses in different parts of the country. | |
