Slipstop - for slippery floor#When a floor on which members of the SIFD dance regularly was recently polished, it became so slippery that the dance organisers were concerned about potential accidents. One of our members recommended Slipstop, which was used and found to be very effective. The organisers were grateful he brought it to their attention, and feel it should be better known.
Slipstop is a very fine white powder which should be sprinkled sparingly on a slippery floor, and soon becomes invisible. It is marketed by, and available from, the Scottish National Dance Company, who operate a world-wide mail order service.
