A group in Bungay, Suffolk has just affiliated. They meet on Wednesday evenings in the King's Head Hotel, and dance International, predominantly Balkan.
| 19th Jan | Let's Dance with change4life launching on Jan 25th | This new campaign by EMDP and CCPR will feature free taster sessions in the first weekend of March. |
This is a joint initiative between the Exercise Movement and Dance Partnership (EMDP) and the CCPR promoting dance under the change4life campaign. The first weekend of March will see short free taster sessions being offered.

Slipstop - for slippery floors
When a floor on which members of the SIFD dance regularly was recently polished, it became so slippery that the dance organisers were concerned about potential accidents. One of our members recommended Slipstop, which was used and found to be very effective. The organisers were grateful he brought it to their attention, and feel it should be better known. Slipstop is a very fine white powder which should be sprinkled sparingly on a slippery floor, and soon becomes invisible. It is marketed by, and available from, the Scottish National Dance Company, who operate a world-wide mail order service.
