This is the first level of membership for groups and classes, and is available
on payment of a fee. The benefits arising from this include:
- Free Publicity
your group's existence and events advertised in the SIFD News, on the SIFD website and in leaflets
- Excellent Insurance Rates
You can apply for cover with the Society's insurance policy for public liability and equipment at very competitive rates
- The SIFD News each month
Details of regular and future dancing events - classes, workshops, weekends, dances, holidays - national and international
- SIFD Music and Publications
Choose from the list of available music products with member's discount
- Visits from SIFD Teachers
One or two visits annually from an SIFD teacher
- Discounted Group Entry
Parties of 5 or more from your group may have entry to SIFD dances at member's prices
- Costumes
Study or borrow costumes from the Society's collection
If you are interested, please contact the Membership Secretary for
more information and an affiliation application form or you can download a PDF copy of the form.
This will ask for
your group's details and confirmation of your support for the Society's aims.

This the second level of membership for groups and classes that are lead by a teacher accredited by the SIFD. In addition to the above benefits, events organised by associated groups are automatically covered by SIFD's own Insurance.
